Efflorescence Waterproofing Treatment
Efflorescence is a condition when salty white powder like deposits form on the walls. This condition arises when water enters the walls. Water upon drying leaves white powder like deposits on the walls giving walls some scaly looks. These white powdery deposits form on the walls due to the addition on salt when baking raw bricks in brick kiln. Due to leakage, water get absorbed in the bricks triggering salt contents in bricks forming white powdery deposits on the walls
Efflorescence condition is completely cared by BH Waterproofing Consultants.
- Efflorescence condition is cared by removing paint from the effected spot. Paint is rubbed off by fine sandpaper cleaning the area to slightly expose the wall cement. Protective coating of chemical paste is applied over the effected spot.
- Slightly complex form of Efflorescence removal is by removing the plaster from the effected spot. Plaster is chiseled off the walls, chemical paste is applied over the wall. Upon drying, wall is re-plastered giving permanent relief from Efflorescence conditions.
